N4G's ps3 fanboys and xbox fanboys don't represent the majority of the gamers out there. Most players of either console don't care if their console beat the other by 5,000 units in a month. So no, most PS3 players don't hate the master chief, and most xbox360 don't hate solid snake. Just most of the N4G'rs who are fanboys, have the hate for the iconic characters of the other system.

the ps2 is still selling like hot cakes, but what games are they buying?? and by the looks of its for guitar hero. But what else are the ps2 buyers buying? with that amount of units going out, youd think there would be more ps2 games in the top??

Ive said it myself many times. If we were to have only one winner and the other two quit the scene. We would then see a $1000 console. Crappy games like we saw with the Atari system.

the MP was buggy as s**t!! the SP had a few frame rate issues. But other then that it was a great GTA clone.

It was a good platformer for its time. It game out shortly after mario64 which turned the platformer on a 360 axis by going into a 3D world. What B&K did was take and make it 10 times better. As mentioned below, the story, the graphics, the gameplay were all stellar back then.
Rare has to do something special here to make sure that this new one is as good as the original. big shoes to fill.
